MUTE MICROPHONE

To activate your microphone, press the yellow button (“Mic off”) . A crossed microphone icon will appear on the screen to denote that the microphone is muted.

  • When attending a videoconference, the microphone should always remain on mute, except when you wish to intervene or provide inputs to the other sites.
  • When you have to speak, the mute mode should be deactivated. You should remind your remote sites to keep their microphones on mute mode, unless they have any questions (multipoint training sessions).
