PROVISION OF TELEHEALTH SERVICES IN WOMEN’S HEALTH IN RUIS McGILL

The CvSSS provides direct and indirect elective teleconsultation services (in real time) and consultations in non-real time in various areas of women’s health care, in addition to providing support for professional practice.

The following services are currently provided in RUIS McGill.

  • Gynaecology:
    • Direct teleconsultations in real time with or without ultrasound
    • Ultrasound teleinterpretations in non-real time
  • Reproductive medicine:
    • Teleconsultations in non-real time
    • Direct teleconsultations in real time with or without ultrasound
    • Psychological evaluation
  • Obstetrics:
    • Direct and/or indirect teleconsultations in real time, with or without ultrasound, and in non-real time
      • Monitoring of feto-maternal medicine for high risk pregnancy
      • Routine pregnancy monitoring
    • Interpretation of fetal monitoring, Non-Stress Test (NST) – in differed time only
      • Shared access to the MUHC’s electronic clinical application Centricity for CSSS partners
