Site Technician

The site technician should possess much wider technical expertise than the site coordinator in order to maintain the telehealth activities in his facility or institution. The training module for this category of users includes information on: a) the procedure for booking and generating data sheets, b) further information on the management of telehealth applications (software), c) a good understanding of how medical devices and videoconferencing equipment work, and D) a good understanding of the full technical support to be offered to users, with the help of TMS, in collaboration with the CECoT.

He provides the first level of technical support and refers to the telehealth technician in the CECoT for the second level. In his institution, he is acknowledged as being the person in charge or the resource person for technical support to telehealth users, including outage management, in collaboration with the telehealth technician in the CECoT.
